The purpose of this document is to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for a Contract, to design, provide, install, commission and maintain, a congress and video/audio system for Powys County Council. Contractors are required to be Constructionline registered and CHAS compliant (or equivalent), and have relevant recent experience in similar organisations of installing similar equipment and systems.
The intended outcome is the ability of the Council to conduct its business via a replacement congress system and audio/visual aids, through a single contractor, throughout the county on various sites.
The appointed Contractor will be expected to also provide maintenance- including call outs, training, (including train the trainer) and relevant warrantees, for an initial 12 months, with an option to extend it on a further 12 monthly basis as required- for a maximum of 36 months.
The project is to be implemented with a phased approach, and the Council may choose to take up the phased requirements or not. The future proofing of the hardware and technology installed is an essential requirement of any proposal provided.
It is intended that the whole solution be provided by one organisation without sub-contracting in order to ensure consistency of the system across each site in commissioning and on-going.
The full specification can be found in Section 7.0 of this document and should be carefully read before answering any question on the Bravosolutions Portal.
