The Council is about to commence a programme to re-procure Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) in line with CEC and Local Goovernment ICT and Digital Strategy.
The Council's current services are largely provided by one external supplier and the current contract is due to expire in March 2016.
Services to be procured may include, but are not limited to: Local Area Network (LAN), hosting, service desk , technical support, desktop and end user services, applications, systems, network and services security, DR, resilience,Cloud, WEB services, infrastructure, integration, WAN, BPO and future elements currently in contract, e.g telephony and printing.
It is the intention to hold a Supplier briefing for the tendering process of our ICT services, on the 2.12.2013 in Edinburgh City Centre, to provide information and gather / give feedback in relation to this project. Please Note: None of the items listed in this PIN are a stage in a formal procurement process. A contract notice will be published against that tender in 2014.
