It is the Council's aim to procure a range of supported accommodation for young people aged 16-21yrs within the above category groups which will include:
- 24/7 staffed emergency accommodation;
- Intensively supported accommodation for those with high level needs;
- Supported accommodation which will provide support and training to enable a successful move to fully independent living;
- Quick access beds for those young people needing accommodation at short notice;
- Provision for unaccompanied asylum seekers that fall under the duties of the Local Authority (UASC).

It is our intention to hold drop in information sessions the dates and times for these are as follows. The event is booked for the 2nd of June and the location is Richmond Room, Edes House, West Street, Chichester.

WSCC would like to engage with current and new providers to explore an new procurement for our emergency and supported accommodation offer to young people within West Sussex. This procurement will ascribe to outcome based commissioning and we hope to engage with providers to stimulate ideas of how they could be delivered. The purpose of this event is to explore the feasibility of initial thoughts and potential viability of essential components such as costing models, dual/mixed methodologies, block arrangements, framework call-offs, geographical spread of provision, value ratios and weighting schedules.
