The textiles available for sale via this contract for recycling/reuse will be mixed and in varying quantities and include clothes, shoes, household textiles, soft toys, blankets, bags, belts, hats and other similar materials. Based on historical sales over the previous 3 years it is estimated that annually a total of around 300 tonnes of mixed textiles is currently collected for recycling/reuse. However the Council does not guarantee that this quantity will be collected and it is intended as a guide only and no guarantee is given that the tonnages stated will be achieved during the contract.
