Queens University Belfast is inviting tenders for the Provision of Fire Alarm Maintenance and Installation Services at various locations and sites across the University. Please refer to the Letter of Invitation for further details.

There are approximately one hundred separate fire alarm systems; ranging from very large multi-panel networks to simple stand alone conventional systems. Most addressable systems are Gent Vigilon or 3400 series; there are some older Nittan conventional systems distributed around the estate and Morley addressable systems at the RVH site. Most fire alarm systems are remotely monitored by the University's Security Control room using a converged network system via Ethernet interfaces.
