II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:This is a framework arrangement for the schools and other educational establishments in Northern Ireland to use for the purchase of science and technology equipment via catalogue discount arrangement from a number of suppliers during the period of the framework. As a guide the current framework value for 1 year was approximatley GBP 450,000 however, the Board can give no guarantee of the value of business, or number of orders which will be placed, during the period of this forthcoming framework as these are subject to the users requirements and available funding.

That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
The Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No 5) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
