III.2.1)Personal situation of economic operators, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registersInformation and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: (1) Insurance carriers should be authorised to write the classes of business required in accordance with all relevant legislation.
(2) Insurance carriers must be able to produce on request a certificate issued by the appropriate regulatory authority indicating the types of insurance they are authorised to provide.
(3) Insurance carriers must comply with the relevant Department of Trade and Industry regulations.
III.2.2)Economic and financial abilityInformation and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Insurance carriers must be authorised to conduct business in the classes of insurance required in accordance with the provisions of the Insurance Comanies act 1982 and any statutory modifications thereof.
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: A minimum credit rating of BBB (S&P;); or A- (AM Best) must be achieved along with an unemcumbered policyholder surplus of at least 50,000,000 USD.
