South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), a leading mental hospital in the UK, is seeking to select a consulting partner to support them implement ‘The Maudsley Method’ of Value Based Healthcare across the whole organisation. The scope of the project will include an initial diagnostic to highlight training and development needs, rolling out training programs and supporting SLaM's programme office to implement and monitor Value Based initiatives to deliver financial and patient outcome benefits which can be measured with data.
SLaM expect the consulting partner to evidence proven tools, methodologies and experience, both to support developing staff in Value Based Healthcare, implement organisation wide Value Based Healthcare change management and provide expert buddying support SLaM to implement and monitor the success of Value Based Healthcare initiatives. SLaM expect the consultancy support arrangement to last for 3 years, with the most intense activity being in Year 1, then after the consulting partner taking a more supportive role in Years 2 and Year 3. SLaM intend to formally advertise this opportunity in October 2015 via an OJEU notice and then source the service via a streamlined competitive dialogue process. The consultancy assignment is anticipated to commence in March 2016. This notice is intended to signal to the market about this opportunity and there is no requirement to respond to this notice at this stage.
Estimated cost excluding VAT:
Range: between 900 000 and 1 200 000 GBP
