Portsmouth City Council - the ‘Council’ have awarded a contract to provide housing related support to vulnerable young people in Portsmouth at risk of Homelessness, with the overall aim of increasing independence and the ability to move-on to lower supported or independent accommodation, addressing the behaviours and issues which led to these risks in the first instance.
The contract consists of 4 services split across 2 Lots.
Lot 1 consists of 3 services;
i) Intensive Young Person's Supported Living Service;
ii) Foyer Support to Young People;
iii) Young Person's Move-on Support Service'
The provider of Lot 1 will be expected to deliver all 3 services.
Lot 2 consists of 1 service only;
iv) Young Person's Supported Lodgings.
The contract commenced on 3.11.2014 and will run for an initial term of 3 years but is extendable, in increments to be agreed, to a total maximum duration of 5 years, subject to performance and agreement of both parties.
The value of the contract for Lot 1 is approximately 426 000 GBP per annum making a total maximum contract value of 2 130 000 GBP if the extension options are taken up in full.
The value of the contract for Lot 2 is approximately 68 000 GBP per annum making a total maximum contract value of 340 000 GBP if the extension options are taken up in full.
