Portsmouth City Council - the ‘Council’ - has awarded a contract to deliver pre paid bank cards for service users in receipt of direct payments from our Adult Services Team. These pre paid cards will provide the service users with fast, reliable and secure access to funding for their care packages.
 The provider of these pre paid cards will also deliver any necessary support systems to enable the management and use of their pre paid cards by the Council, including but not limited to any necessary software packages, web based portals or help-desk functions.
 The contract commenced on 1.4.2014 and will run for an initial term of 2 years but is extendable to a total maximum duration of 3 years, subject to performance and agreement of both parties.
 The value of the contract is approximately 25 000 GBP per annum making a total maximum contract value of 75 000 GBP if the extension options are taken up in full.
