Herefordshire Council is commissioning an Information, Advice and Signposting Hub service to be delivered from a location in Hereford city provided by the council. The hub will operate a ‘front door', telephone and web-based IAS service for Herefordshire residents supporting them to get basic information and low-level advice on services and activities available to support them and their families. It will also provide a sign-posting function enabling people to get the expert support they need from the right place. Therefore the successful organisation or consortium will be expected to maintain and ensure the quality of information available via website regarding the breadth of services and activities available in communities across the county. The hub will be expected to work collaboratively with partners of all sectors to ensure quality information, advice and signposting is available to all.
