Our aim is to work in partnership with a company to deliver an education programme based on BTEC National qualifications in sport at levels 1,2 and 3 and includes Functional Skills in Mathematics and English. The programme must have the following elements to it:
* Offered throughout England.
* The programme is intended for young people aged 16-18 years old.
* Must offer the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (performance and excellence as minimum).
* All the education content and delivery must be via an online virtual learning environment.
* All assignments must be completed and submitted via the online system.
* Online assessments.
* Online attendance registers.
* The education delivery must be through the community groups of the pro-football clubs and in particular the Football League Trust.
* Provide an enrichment programme that includes:
- coaching and training to develop skills in Futsal.
- offer the beginning guide to Futsal Coaching Certificate.
- FS Certificate in Refereeing Futsal games.
- all students must play in the FLT National Futsal League.
- all students must play in the FLT National Futsal Cup.
- community groups of the pro football clubs and in particular the Football League Trust must be engaged to deliver all coaching and team management for match days as a minimum.
- team profiles.
- player profiles.

- In evaluating tenders the following elements must be met:
- Must be able to offer the service to students no later than the start of the academic year September 2014;
- Capable of delivery throughout England;
- Must be able to demonstrate they can recruit up to 500 learners for September 2014 start;
- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (performance and excellence) as a minimum;
- Must use an online system for all education delivery and assessments;
- Teaching staff must be qualified appropriately;
- Coaching staff must have a minimum of FA Level 2 and beginners guide to coaching Futsal;
- All Futsal matches to be played on indoor international sized Futsal pitches and be capable of hosting 10-, 40-minute matches per day;
- All coaching is to be delivered by staff from the community groups of the pro football clubs such as Huddersfield, Exeter City FC, etc. and in particular the Football League Trust.
