II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:The Council's preference is to appoint a single furniture provider for all aspects of the project. The requirement for a single supplier is based on limiting risk associated with the Project. The timescales for delivery are challenging and any delays on installation will impact on the Council's exposure to further costs. The furniture contract will be awarded to the tenderer who can demonstrate best value, best quality and lowest risk.
The contract will be fixed for a two year period, anticipated to start from 31.3.2014 There will be an option to extend the contract period for up to one (1) year based on demand and at the sole discretion of the council.

Candidates will be required to answer these questions as part of the qualification process. For candidates who are registered overseas, you will need to declare if you have any offences/misconduct under your own countries laws, where these laws are equivalent to the Regulation 23 lists.
Candidates who have been convicted of any of the offences under Article 45(1) are ineligible and will not be selected to bid, unless there are overriding requirements in the general interest for doing so.
Candidates who are guilty of any of the offences, circumstances or misconduct under Article 45(2) may be excluded from being selected to bid at the discretion of the Authority.
