II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council has identified a need to streamline and improve certain aspects of its Waste Management processes, such as a move towards a paperless way of working.
As part of this project Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for an experienced organisation that can provide services around software based waste management platform.
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is looking is looking for a waste management solution that provides a customisable application for use in household waste, recycling, garden waste, commercial waste and clinical waste.
The solution should provide real time information and data entry for both back office and operatives in the field via in cab technology. It is the preference of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council that this solution is hosted externally to RMBC's datacentre.
The agreement is to be for a 2 year duration with an option to extend solely at the councils discretion for a further one year period.
