Camden Council is seeking to procure the services of a suitably qualified organisation to independently assess basement impact assessments submitted with planning applications seeking to extend or build a basement within their property. The successful organisation will be expected to review basement impact assessments in accordance with the requirements of the Camden Planning Guidance Note no. 4, which can be found here: http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/environment/planning-and-built-environment/two/planning-policy/supplementary-planning-documents/camden-planning-guidance.en
Providers will be expected to draft reports, advise officers of the Council's Development Management service and attend and present to the Council's Development Control Committee. Where a contract has not been entered into the court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the Contracting Authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been entered into the court has the options to award damages and/or to shorten or order the contract ineffective.
