II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)The purpose of this exercise is to put a framework agreement in place with a number of suppliers for the provision of Corporate Software Solutions which will include Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Payroll Management and Management Information Systems. The successful suppliers in respect of each Lot will be expected to offer a solution which meets the needs of an educational establishment including the provision of project management, installation support and maintenance.
It is a requirement of the Tender that the selected Supplier(s) will extend the terms to all eligible Institutions and Consortia, as defined by the CPC including Further Education institutions, Sixth Forms, Academies, Schools, Free Schools, Museums and other similar organisations. As per our joint contracting programme other bodies that may choose to access the agreement include NWUPC (North West Universities Purchasing Consortium) and WFEPC (Welsh Further Education Purchasing Consortium). The tender is also potentially available for Higher Education institutions should they join CPC on a single contract basis. The CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia.
