VI.3)Additional informationThe framework arrangement will commence in November 2012 for 3 year period with the option to extend for a further 12 months. It will be available to all contracting bodies identified in II.1.5. It is anticipated that the value over the potential four year period will be approximately 50,000,000. Award of contracts under the framework may be on the basis of mini-competitions designed to ensure best value for purchasing bodies. Providers should note that there will be ongoing engagement with other contracting bodies to those identified in II.1.5 and extensive marketing to encourage uptake of this agreement.
Any orders placed under this agreement will form a separate contract under the scope of this framework between the provider and the contacting body. The Contracting Authority and other contracting bodies reserve the right to use any electronic portal during the life of the agreement.
The framework shall be subject to a levy or commission fee payable to The Consortium for Purchasing and Distribution Ltd. For the purpose of this procurement The Consortium for Purchasing and Distribution Ltd will require economic operators to satisfy minimum levels of financial standing or technical ability at the PQQ stage, as shown in the pre-qualification document. Note that the PQQ contains important background information together with exclusion clauses relating to the fact that The Consortium for Purchasing and Distribution Ltd may terminate or suspend this procurement at any time without cost or liability to The Consortium for Purchasing and Distribution Ltd.
The Consortium for Purchasing and Distribution Ltd shall be hosting a supplier day on site at Hammond Way, Trowbridge, BA14 8RR on Friday 13.7.2012, this is restricted to a maximum of 2 attendees from each interested supplier and attendance must be confirmed in advance by emailing no later than Tuesday 10.7.2012.
