II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)Enfield Council is inviting applications from contractors who can demonstrate extensive experience in providing a parking pay by phone contract. This is a joint contract with Redbridge Council however on award, the boroughs will operate separately. At present both boroughs are running pay by phone parking trials in there off off-street car parks. During the length of the contract both boroughs intend to broaden the scope of the service on-street.
Applications are invited from suitably experienced companies to set-up, implement and provide a pay by phone service for parking. It is expected that these integrated systems will provide access to real time data, provide financial and management reports and accept all forms of cashless parking.
The contract period will be from 2012-2017 with an option for further extension of up to 4 years in 12 monthly increments.
