II.4)Short description of nature and scope of works
The Authorities will be looking to appoint a new framework with up to 4 lots covering different value bands, to contractors for Design and Build Services that will be used to deliver Works for a range of construction projects primarily across Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
It is planned that a supplier interaction day will be held in May/June 2016 in Cambridgeshire to help gauge how this framework will be structured.
This Framework will be open to all of LGSS including:
Partners and other organisations delegating services and/or functions to LGSS (currently Cambridgeshire County Council, Northamptonshire County Council, Milton Keynes Council, Norwich City Authority and Northampton Borough Council) who participate in LGSS' shared services venture;
New LGSS customers seeking to utilise LGSS frameworks on an independent third party basis.
(i) Any city, district, borough or other local authority within the counties of any LGSS partner authority (currently Cambridgeshire County and Northamptonshire County) including Northamptonshire Partnership Homes;
(ii) Any companies or organisations set up by participants in LGSS;
(iii) Any school, academy, university or other educational establishment within the counties of any LGSS partner authority (currently Cambridgeshire County and Northamptonshire County); and
(iv) Members of the local authority purchasing group, Central Buying Consortium (CBC).
Estimated value excluding VAT: 500 000 000 GBP
