Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council) requires a suitably qualified contractor(s) to undertake office cleaning at sites owned and managed by the Council:
1) Campus West.
2) Campus East.
3) Vineyard Barn.
4) Hazel Grove.
5) Jim MacDonald.
6) Moors Walk.
7) Shoplands.
8) Warden Controlled Sites.
9) Weltech Centre.
10) Hatfield Housing Office.
The tender includes 2 options.
Option 1 - All sites
Option 2 - Removal of Campus West, Vineyard Barn, Hazel Grove and Jim MacDonald Centre and the Weltech Centre
The Council is conducting an internal costing exercise for the sites contained in option 2 and reserves the right to bring the services in house and end the procurement for this option if this is considered economically viable by the Council
The Transfer of Undertaking and and Protection of Employment (TUPE) Legislation is likely to apply to both options.
In accordance with section 53 of the Public Contract Regulations - a full set of tender documents have been provided, but they should not be completed at this stage.
