Suffolk County Council wishes to extend the current contract with MLL Ltd in relation to the Wide Area Network for a period of 2 years utilising Clause 14a iii of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 - Use of negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice technical or artistic reasons. The direction of travel for Suffolk County Council in both technical (Cloud migration) and collaborative opportunities (Devolution/integration of health and other public sector networks) require further engagement with the market and potential partners before commencing a formal procurement exercise in 2016/2017 for county wide contract to be in place in 2018.
