This is a Contract Award Notice to provide both planned and reactive maintenance services for a period of three years. The contract covers a wide variety of sites across West Berkshire. The greater part of the works will be based in educational establishments. However, the successful contractor will also be expected to carry out maintenance works at other building types which will include but will not be limited to Leisure Centres, Libraries, Public Conveniences, Museums, Residential Care Homes, Community Centres and Offices.
The Planned Maintenance works element of the contract will include but will not be limited to the Planned Maintenance of gym equipment.
The Reactive Maintenance works element of the contract will include but will not be limited to Reactive Maintenance works to windows, doors, stairs, surface finishes, masonry and roofing.
The successful tenderer may also be considered for minor works projects up to the value of GBP 50 000 under the terms of this contract.
