This framework agreement is for the appointment of Agent(s) to supply electronic and print periodicals and associated services to members of Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium, North East Universities Purchasing Consortium, Higher Education Purchasing Consortium for Wales, and the academic Library Consortia MUAL and NEYAL. Other higher education regional purchasing consortia may join this framework agreement in future years.
Members purchase a wide range of electronic and print periodicals from publishers worldwide, including databases, and discovery tools for electronic resources. They may also require consolidation services.
The framework agreement will be let for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years. Estimated values shown in this Notice are for the full 4 year period. Estimated annual expenditure is anticipated to be between 40 000 000 and 100 000 000 GBP.
Suppliers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to #143;Express Interest #143; upon which they will be given access to the full tender documentation through this e-tendering system. Expressions of interest can only be accepted until Thursday 22nd January at 17:00 and the deadline for submission of completed Tenders is Monday 2nd February at 11:00.
