In order to create the range of workplace settings proposed throughout the collaboration and restaurant spaces at the Crick, it anticipated that the loose furniture package will require the successful bidder to source the furniture from multiple suppliers.
This tender process will procure the loose furniture agent as the first stage of a two stage procurement process.
The furniture agent will procure the loose furniture components with the client through a competitive pricing mechanism outside the requirements of the OJEU process as a second stage of the final procurement of loose furniture.
Nature works:
The successful bidder will work with the client and his designers to choose furniture that is a mix of the best products in the market, rather than the best products a single supplier can provide. The Furniture agent will manage the procurement of the furniture from various manufacturers, consolidate the deliveries for all orders and provides a single installation team to install all products.
Scope of works:
Shall comprise; the management of the design completion, procurement, manufacturing, supply and installation of loose furniture at the Crick in line with the client's requirement.
