The Independent Dudley Health Complaints Advocacy Service will provide Dudley residents with the advice, information and support necessary for them to make and resolve a complaint about NHS care or treatment.
It will be a client centred, flexible service empowering individuals to achieve a resolution to their complaint about healthcare commissioned and/or provided by NHS bodies in the Borough. Moreover it will support an individual to resolve a complaint about NHS services experienced within another local area.
The service will also support the process of Local Resolution (individuals and NHS staff work together to resolve complaints at a point as close as possible to the point of service that has caused dissatisfaction).
