NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) wishes to establish a Framework agreement for use by or on behalf of current and future NHS SBS clients, including without limitation (i) any National Health Service (NHS) Trust (ii) other persons and bodies exercising NHS functions or otherwise providing NHS services (including, but not limited to Primary Care Trusts, Strategic Health Authorities and Foundation Trusts) (being other NHS Entities) (iii) other UK public sector bodies; (and their statutory successors and public sector health organisations and/or other public sector organisations created as a result of government reorganisation in the UK) and (iv) private sector entities in the UK and Isle of Man healthcare sector. Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Restricted procedures include a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to bidders. This period allows unsuccessful bidders to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Such information should be requested from NHS SBS. If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 no 5) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly.
