II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:Birmingham Airport has invested over the years in BEMS equipment via utilisation and integration of existing systems and new technologies. It is now seeking a contractor who demonstrates skill and ability to manage these systems or provide alternative management systems and in doing so identify and implement energy efficiences and cost savings for the Airport. It is anticipated this in the main will be acheived by the contractor appointed to mangage the controls systems, which will be the core contract with site presence, however the additional areas of chiller and boiler maitnenace (planned and reactive), and air cooler maintenance (reactive only) must be innovative and will play a key role too. Award will be on the basis of a 5 year term (with break clause) and an option to extend.

Lot No: 1 Lot title: Current Control System Maintenance1)Short description:Lot 1 allows for management of the existing control systems with the utilisation of the existing integration tool or the provision of a new integration tool. The objective of this lot is to maximise energy efficiency which will deliver financial savings via this management and maintenance.
