The Suffolk Waste Partnership is considering a procurement to select a single provider for the provision of glass bring banks and the collection and recycling of the glass collected therein. Based on 2012/13 figures this procurement equates to approximately 10,000 tonnes per annum.
For the purposes of this procurement the Suffolk Waste Partnership consists of Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Babergh District Council, Mid Suffolk District Council, St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Forest Heath District Council and Waveney District Council.
Interested parties should be able to demonstrate that they can deliver best value, customer service and continuous improvement whilst ensuring the best environmental outcome for the residents of Suffolk.
Please note this procurement will not include the geographic area covered by Suffolk Coastal District Council.
