The B&NES; Energy@Home Advice Service will provide energy saving information, guidance and advice for residents and businesses in the Bath & North East Somerset area. It will also co-ordinate Green Deal advisors and the home assessment process.
The Advice Service will work on behalf of the B&NES; Energy@Home Partnership and work closely with other delivery partners such as the approved Green Deal/ECO Provider (to be procured by mid 2014). The Partnership aims to reduce carbon emissions, help those in fuel poverty and strengthen the local economy by stimulating retrofit demand.
The successful organisation will be responsible for promoting and marketing the B&NES; Energy@Home scheme. The Partnership aims to achieve significant uptake of retrofit in the B&NES; area and will be looking for innovative marketing approaches.
Delivering a seamless customer journey is important to the Partnership so the Advice Service will need to provide follow up calls to help customers overcome any barriers and achieve their retrofit goals.
In line with the ‘Partners in Procurement' agreement this contract will be available for the use of all local authorities in the South West.
Tenders are welcome from single organisations or consortia. The relevant Green Deal accreditation and Consumer Credit Act licencing (Financial Conduct Authority authorisation) will be necessary.
The contract is likely to last up to five years with a break clause (timings to be confirmed).
