Financial Planning and Forecasting Software Tool (Tool) to improve the integrity of the FSCS finance processes, data and reporting. The Tool is to be a predictive MI tool with a specific focus on:
- Annual budgets;
- Quarterly budget forecasts;
- Annual and interim levy calculations;
- Regular treasury and cash flow projections;
- Provision of a robust audit trail for the various financial planning and forecasting processes;
- Improvement of the production of the FSCS's budget, forecasting, and levy calculations through reduction of the possibility of errors in improvement of processing;
- Introduction of a level of automation to improve the efficiency of processes and speed up the creation, modelling and distribution of process outputs;
- Provision of a user-friendly interface to enable non-Finance users to contribute and support the overall process workflow;
- 3 year planning.
