To provide painting services to Habinteg Housing Associations stock (list provided) for a 5 year period based on a rolling annual programme of work with the option to extend for a further 5 years. The scope of the contract includes redecoration of previously painted surfaces to:
- External parts of domestic tenanted properties including, houses, bungalows, maisonettes and flats. A full list of property addresses and types is provided as appendix 1 in the PQQ.
- External structures to include fencing, car ports, garages, bin stores and walkways.
- External parts of communal facilities and estate offices.
- Internal surfaces of communal areas and estate offices including corridors, stairwells, community rooms and bin stores.
The scope also includes:
- Pre-paint repairs identified through survey.
- Pre-paint surveys and scheduling of work to include the specification of suitable materials and methods of application.
- Carrying out pre-paint repairs.
- Total quality management strategies to include inspection of work in progress and on completion.
- Provision to act as Principal Contractor under the CDM Regulations.
- Communication and liaison with tenants.
- Provision of key performance reports to Habinteg management.
- Cleaning of rainwater goods and removal of solids to leave in a free flowing condition.
