St Georges University of London (SGUL) wishes to appoint a Contractor to deliver Cleaning and General Soft Services for its buildings in Tooting, South West London. The estate includes laboratories, offices, sports centre and accommodation units.
SGUL requires the Contractor to propose a solution for the provision and/or management of the following services:
Cleaning Services including:
General Cleaning.
Window Cleaning.
Consumables and Supplies.
Waste Management.
Recycling.
General Soft Services including:
Pest Control.
Indoor Plants.
Floor Mats.
Feminine Hygiene.
Grounds Maintenance.
Facilities Support Services.
Cranmer Terrace Hotel Services.
SGUL is an independent dual faculty specialist university in South West London offering Medical and Biomedical Sciences and Health and Social Care Sciences. It has approximately 70 000 square meters of property, 900 employees and 1 700 students. It also has a long history of providing medical and health care education dating back to 1834.
SGUL has a preference for a single contract with a prime supplier. Contractors must be aware that SGUL shares the site with St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust and as such this contract must be open for ad hoc requirements.
Alternative proposals which are innovative and designed to provide the best value for money will be accepted for consideration by SGUL.

The scope of this requirement comprises the provision of cleaning and general soft services to SGUL's estate as detailed more fully in the Invitation to Tender which will be issued to shortlisted tenderers.
The contract is for a 24 month term with the option for SGUL to extend it for a further 24 months in annual increments subject to the satisfactory delivery of services.
