The supply, support/maintenance and delivery of Intel, AMD or equivalent based enterprise and industry standard servers, storage/backup solutions and associated management hardware and software. The Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) is acting as lead organisation on behalf of its members and also for members of the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium for Wales (HEPCW), the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC), the North West Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC), the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) and the Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC Limited). It is not acting as an agent in the legal sense on behalf of participating organisations. A full list of the participating Consortia members are available on the Consortia websites. All agreements resulting from this tender should also be made available to future members of any of the participating Consortia and also the Research Councils should they wish to adopt this framework. The existing agreement has seen expenditure of 110 000 000 GBP over a three year period.

This tender is restricted to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) only and the distribution route to members shall be direct or via nominated re-sellers. OEMs will be required to nominate their proposed re-sellers as part of the tender process. The tender process will be conducted online. Tenderers can Express an Interest in this project at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/supc. Once tenderers have Expressed Interest they will be informed when the project starts.
