GMFRS has undertaken a project aimed at improving the way in which fire fighting will be undertaken in the future, to improve fire fighter safety, to reduce risk and to utilise technological advancements to assist in fighting fires in a more advanced way. Respondees to this PIN notice should be capable of providing equipment that will allow fire fighters via a ultra high pressure system, to fight fires from outside the building with ideally, the ability to pierce brick, stone, breeze block, sheet metal, concrete, timber etc via a form of branch or lance mechnism or suitable equivalent operating procedure. The successful solution should have the ability to provide a water mist at high pressure. The proposed solution must offer a traditional fire fighting capability through both, direct or indirect fire attack.
