For the following lot all applicants whose tender submissions score a minimum of 50 % out of 100 % per Lot will be appointed onto the framework agreement for that lot:
Lot 1 - Adhesive tapes.
For the following lots NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing 1 applicant per lot:
Lot 2 - First aid kits.
Lot 4 - Washproof plasters.
For the lots listed below NHS Supply Chain will rank the applicants according to their total score per lot and anticipates appointing a minimum number of applicants onto the framework agreement for that lot (for minimum number see each lot). If the minimum number of highest scoring applicants does not offer full coverage against the products within the lot then NHS Supply Chain may award the framework agreement to further applicants until full coverage is achieved. Relevant lots as follows:
Lot 3 - Non woven Island dressings (minimum 4).
Lot 8 - Gauze swabs (minimum 3).
Lot 9 - Non woven swabs (minimum 3).
Lot 10 - Oral swabs (minimum 3).
Lot 11 - Prep swabs (minimum 3).
Lot 12 - Type 13 gauze swabs (minimum 3).
Lot 13 - X-ray detectable swabs (minimum 3).
For the following Lots all applicants whose tender submissions score a minimum of 60 % out of 100 % per lot will be appointed onto the framework agreement for that lot:
Lot 5 - Bandages.
Lot 6 - Barrier creams and films.
Lot 7 - Film dressings.
Lot 14 - General absorbents - super absorbents.
Lot 22 - General absorbents - ambulance dressings.
For the following lots NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing 1 applicant per product line within each lot:
Lot 15 - General absorbents - cotton wool.
Lot 16 - General absorbents - dressing pads.
Lot 17 - General absorbents - gauze.
Lot 18 - General absorbents - maternity pads.
Lot 19 - General absorbents - nasal swabs and nasal tampons.
Lot 20 - General absorbents - non woven balls.
Lot 21 - General absorbents - sanitary products.
NHS Supply Chain intends to enter into arrangements under which it will be entitled to purchase supplies and/or services which it will make available for purchase by 1) any NHS Trust; 2) any other NHS entity; 3) any government department agency or other statutory body and/or 4) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector. Only NHS Supply Chain can order from the Framework Agreement and enter into contracts under it.
Tenders and all supporting documentation for the contract must be priced in sterling and written in English. Any agreement entered into will be considered a contract made in England according to English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. NHS Supply Chain is not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in tendering for this contract opportunity. NHS Supply Chain reserves the right to terminate the procurement process (or part of it) to change the basis of and the procedures for the procurement process at any time or to procure the subject matter of the contract by alternative means if it appears that it can be more advantageously procured by alternative means. The most economically advantageous or any tender will not automatically be accepted.
