The BBC is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement across two SharePoint Development Services lots. The SharePoint Services lots include the full range of services along the value chain, including Requirements Analysis, Project Management, Configuration, Development, Testing, Packaging and third-line Support. Suppliers can provide additional SharePoint-related services too within the rosters where they have particular specialisms, such as User Experience & Design, Integration Services (including with legacy pre-web services platforms), or Mobile User Interfaces.
We require companies that have experience providing SharePoint applications for in-house and externally hosted architectures.

Lot No: 1 Lot title: Rapid SharePoint Solution Provision
1)Short description
To include: Rapid Development of small-medium sized SharePoint applications which are most likely to be hosted on the BBC platform. Service scope includes Analysis and Design, Development & Integration and short-term hosting & Support for Events & Pilots. For guidance it would be expected that work packages falling within this Lot would generally be sized at fewer than 50 man-days in effort and work would commence within 10 working days of receiving a purchase order.
Lot 1 is for a framework agreement which will be issued to a maximum of 10 suppliers.

In the case of technology requirements, the BBC may involve its technology partner (Atos IT Solutions and Services Limited) to assist in the scoping and drafting of invitations to tender and/or the evaluation of tenders.However, the final decision as to which is the most economically advantageous (by reference to the award criteria) will be made by the BBC. The awarding authority reserves the right not to award a contract and to annul the procurement process at any stage. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in sterling and all payments will be made in sterling. The contract shall be subject to English law. The awarding authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any tender and reserves the right to accept part of a tender unless the tenderer expressly stipulates otherwise in the tender document. Lot No: 2 Lot title: Complex SharePoint Solution Provision

To include: Development of more complex SharePoint applications. Likely to involve integration with other systems. Service scope includes Analysis and Design, Development & Integration, Short-term hosting & Support for Events & Pilots and the potential for Long-term hosting and/or Support. For guidance it would be expected that work packages falling within this Lot would generally be sized at greater than 50 man-days in effort and work would commence within 15 working days of receiving a purchase order.
Lot 2 is for a framework agreement which will be issued to a maximum of 7 suppliers.
