Oldham Council seek to appoint specialist contractors via price framework to provide tree surgery services and other duties relating to arboriculture work across the boroughs. Other association of Greater Manchester authorities "AGMA” councils or services may wish to use this pricing framework to commission work in their own areas of control, however this is subject to agreement post tender. The annual external spend across Oldham Council managed areas is 250 000 GBP. The other AGMA authorities may wish to participate in this framework agreement and this contract is designed to facilitate this participation, however spends for other authorities are not included for this procurement. The intention is to form a framework of suppliers, which will ensure availability of labour and equipment. The contract will be administered and the work allocated by the individual departments as they see appropriate. Please note that being selected as one of the prospective suppliers on the framework agreement will in no way guarantee an allotted amount of work during the contract period.
