This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market that North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative plans to undertake a procurement exercise for Total Waste Management Services for use by NOE CPC members, the wider NHS and other eligible Authorities with the approval of NOECPC.
The resulting framework will include waste streams covering commercial waste & recycling, healthcare & related waste, reusable sharps waste & related services, confidential waste and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and provide an EU compliant route to market for a range of waste services as required by Participating Organisations.
The key drivers for Participating Organisations accessing the framework will be:
- reduction in total costs
- improved service quality and efficiency
- improved environmental efficiencies
- compliance with regulatory regimes and the law
The framework will provide flexibility for Participating Organisations to contract their waste requirements for individual or multiple waste streams across a range of appointed framework suppliers.
Pursuant to this PIN a separate Contract Notice will be issued following which the ITT will be published and available for interested parties to submit a response.
