The Data Management Services provided by DST Group for the PHE Marketing Communications Centre will be provided under sub-contract until 31.7.2016, after which time PHE will require to continue with a direct contract with DST Group until the process of procuring a new CRM system has been completed, anticipated to be August 2017 for the following reasons, 1) designing and implementing a replacement solution including migration could take circa 2 years, 2) DST store the data on a company-specific system, and 3)
due to existing intellectual property restrictions, economic necessity and the delay in the planned replacement for the Marketing database, PHE has no option but to procure the services from DST.
