The supplier must be fully conversant in LEAN/ 6 Sigma tools and techniques have a specialist understanding of LEAN, and similar tool-sets to perform process improvement activity.
Provides support to Network Rail in implementation of continuous improvement initiatives including specialist coaching, mentoring and visualisation, focused on transitioning knowledge and building internal capability.

Network Rail will be holding a pre-procurement market engagement event currently intended to be held on 30.6.2016 between 9:30 until 17:00 (split into 3 sessions) at the following location with suppliers who express an interest in response to this PIN:
Jurys Inn Milton Keynes, Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK9 2HP.

Organisations wishing to express interest in attending this pre-procurement market engagement should register their interest in the first instance by providing the following information, via email, to: and

i) The company name, address, and registered in England number.
ii) Contact name, Job Title, Telephone number and e-mail address and the name(s) of the proposed attendees.
Please note that each company is permitted a maximum of only 2 attendees for this event. Organisations should register an interest by Monday, 27.6.2016 at 17:00 in order to attend this event.
Joining instructions will be issued by the Network Rail contacts stated above by 20:00 on 28th June with further details on timings etc. Joining instructions will not be sent until after the PIN has closed at 17:00 on 27.6.2016.
The event will be split into 3 separate sessions to accommodate numbers. Each organisation will be allocated a time to attend.
Network Rail is under no obligation to follow up in any way with the interested parties as a result of this PIN event. Any discussions which do occur will cease immediately should a formal competition ultimately be announced.
