Middlesbrough Council is looking for a suitably qualified provider to coordinate the management of wellness services with a new integrated wellness service.
The wellness services will include Healthy lifestyle services: smoking cessation, nutritional advice, healthy mind advice, physical activity, sensible drinking advice, health literacy and skills; - Self-care and independent living: self-care/conditions management, affordable warmth, care and repair, equipment, aids and adoptions, advocacy; - Families and early years support: healthy pregnancy, breastfeeding, parenting support; - Work, learning and skills: occupational health, employment support, volunteering, education and learning, health literacy; - Health protection and personal safety: substance misuse, dental health promotion, sexual health, violence prevention; - Community development and leisure: arts and cultural, leisure services, community events/training, health walks, cook and eat; - Welfare: housing advice and homelessness, debt advice, welfare rights.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: 2 years accounts and bankers reference. Minimum levels of standards possibly required: The contractors financial and economic standing will be assessed on the information it provides in its pre-qualification questionnaire and any other information requested by the Authority by way of clarification. Factors that will be considered will include turnover, liquidity, profitability, equity and overall company efficiency. The list is not exhaustive and assessment will ultimately be made on a pass or fail based on the risk level of the financial ability of the contractor to deliver the service. Those contractors assessed as low to medium risk will proceed and those deemed as high risk will not.
