and Transport Scotland (‘the Roads Authorities’) propose to put in place a single UK
wide five year with optional extensions of up to 2 years duration Contract (referred
to as commission in this brief) to support the resource accounting requirements for
each of the four national road administrations' asset valuations. Highways England
will be running the procurement on behalf of the other departments but will only be
responsible for the allocation of its own task orders and not those of the other
departments. Each department will be responsible for remuneration of its own task
orders.
