Anglian Water Services Ltd is looking for Grounds Maintenance Services companies to provide planned and ad-hoc services throughout the Anglian Water region. These ground maintenance services are termed, Planned and ad-hoc. Such services as an example but not limited to and may vary throughout the agreement:
- planned = grass cutting, hedge cutting, weeding (hand pulling and spraying), edging,
- support delivering Health and Safety and Biodiversity site checking and so on.
Ad-hoc = tree surgery and maintenance, tree removal, minor fence repairs, bird dropping, Japanese knot weed, ditch maintenance and other miscellaneous activities on an ad-hoc basis.
The Anglian Water region stretches from the Humber, North of Grimsby, to the Thames estuary and then from Buckingham to Lowestoft on the East coast. We envisage splitting our geographical area into 4 lots for participants to bid for and these will be North, South and East and West; with optional extra Rutland Region. These areas will be determined during the tender process.
The minimum service requirements and demonstrating experience in:
- Quality Standards, especially in management of cross contamination;
- Robust Health and Safety practice and processes (OHSAS 18001 or Achilles Verify B or equivalent);
- effectively operating security sensitive locations;
- biodiversity management and development;
- waste removal certification;
- managing similarly sized multi sited services with effective and accurate site visit capturing;
- performance reporting capabilities for site On-Time In Full (OTIF).
